Join the ladies of Coastal Chesapeake for our annual Women of Coastal Spring Gathering. This will be an exciting time as we gather together with other women and fix our hearts and minds on knowing Christ in a deeper way. Our theme is Flourishing in Faith, which comes from Hebrews 11:6: “Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.” We will be learning how we can move away from fear and lies and unbelief, and instead draw near to God in our daily walk and allow Him to strengthen our faith as we lean into the truths that God is for us, and that He loves us! We will also be taking part in a special service project to serve and bless another group of women. We will be partnering with ECHO, which is a ministry that serves foster families in the Hampton Roads area. At the Spring Gathering we will be collecting small gift items that we will put together in gift baskets, and then we will later distribute these gift baskets to foster moms in the area (just in time for Mother’s Day) to encourage them and let them know that as a church we are praying for them and we appreciate all that they do as they bring kids into their home and care for them and love them.
